  • A carefully-designed workspace stores data sources, credentials and other settings in one central place.
  • Comparison sessions, saved automatically in the workspace, allow you to rerun the most frequent comparisons with just one click.
  • Whether you compare a few rows or millions of them, Data Compare will handle any data size with ease.
  • Safe script execution, combined with variable batch size and transaction size, allows for an efficient and reliable data synchronization.

  • Use traditional SQL Server and Windows Authentication, or Azure Authentication with all your databases.
  • You can use database primary keys, constraints and indexes to map data rows with each other, or create custom keys in Data Compare when a suitable index doesn't exist.
  • You can map tables and views in an instant, using the default rules, or create custom rules and map them in any way you like.
  • Compare the whole data or just portion of it by specifying where clauses.
  • Use data options to control most of comparison features.

GUI, Command Line, to name a few, Data Compare provides the tools you need to get the job done

  • Use Data Compare to compare, script and synchronize your databases, generate differences reports, all interactively in a simple and intuitive interface.
  • Use the Data Compare Command Line to perform all the tasks the user-interface does and run them in batch files.
  • Use the Data Compare Command Line Wizard to manage the config files of the command line utility.

Licensing Options

Data Compare can be purchased with a 1-year subscription or with a perpetual, lifetime license. A subscription license includes additional tools, receives all updates released during the time subscription is active and, in general, provides a better value than the perpetual license.

You can get a lifetime, perpetual license for Data Compare only or the Comparison Bundle, the package that contains both Data Compare and Schema Compare. We recommend you include a maintenance plan with the perpetual license, so that you receive all the patches, major releases and the support for the latest versions of SQL Server.

In addition to the licensing options below, we can provide also temporary extensions, subscriptions longer than 1 year, volume licensing for large organizations, third-party sellers or virtual environments. Other licensing types may be available as well, just send us a note at and we will do our best to help you.

If you are looking to renew or upgrade an existing license, sign in to your account, click on the "My Licenses" link at the top bar and check the licensing renewal options that are available to you.
