xSQL Schema Compare will work as a fully licensed professional edition for the first 2 weeks.
After the trial period is over then it will revert to the Lite edition which functions as described below.
SQL Server Express: if both databases being compared are SQL Server Express databases then no restrictions are imposed.
As far as SQL Server Express is concerned there is no difference between the licensed professional edition of xSQL Schema Compare and the free, lite edition.
Other editions of SQL Server: if one of the databases being compared is a non-SQL Server Express database then xSQL Schema Compare's licensing mechanism will kick in and count the number of objects in that database.
