xSQL Schema Compare for SQL Server > Comparing Databases > Including or Excluding Object Types |
Schema compare supports and can synchronize all database objects. By default only a few objects types are excluded. In most cases you should not need to change the default settings. There are however scenarios in which you might wish to exclude certain object types that are included by default.
To exclude or include all objects of a specific type, open the "Comparison Options". Under the first tab, named "Database Objects", select the objects types you wish to include, or unselect the ones you wish to exclude.
![]() |
Exclude object types with caution. Due to dependencies between database objects, excluding all objects of a given type may cause the synchronization script to fail. |
